Reese’s MaGIC Fund and Glover Park Brewery present

5th Annual Ring the Bell Benefit

Join us in supporting our biggest charity of the year by purchasing a ticket to Ring the Bell!

How exactly do you say thank you to someone who saved your child's life? This fund is our quest to do just that...

Reese was diagnosed with Stage IV sacrococcygeal teratoma on August 13, 2016. We immediately began chemotherapy at Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to shrink this germ cell tumor. The tumor was removed in November 2016 and Reese rang her ‘end of treatment bell’ in November of 2018 signifying she is done with treatment. We are tremendously grateful to the entire team at CHOA for their expertise and loving care of our younger daughter.

To honor her fight, Reese's MaGIC Fund will support the work of Dr. Thomas Olson and Dr. Megan Durham, the leaders of her medical team at the Aflac Cancer Center. Dr. Olson established MaGIC (Malignant Germ Cell International Consortium) - a group of 32 physicians from 9 different countries with various specialties who have come together to advance the advance the treatment of germ cell tumors. Together the MaGIC Consortium has accomplished more strategic targeting of treatment to germ cell tumors and has opened three new clinical trials internationally.

Pediatric cancer research simply does not receive the money it deserves. In just seven years Reese’s Magic Fund has raised more than $550,000 to support Dr. Olson’s solid tumor research and the MaGIC Consortium’s efforts. Through annual events and a successful Click 4 Kids page, Reese’s MaGIC Fund will continue to make an impact on Germ Cell Tumor research.

Join us on Wednesday, September 11 from 6-9pm at Glover Park Brewery for the 5th annual Ring the Bell Benefit! This kid-friendly event will feature food and beverages, face painting, a DJ, a brief program and more! All proceeds from the evening will directly benefit solid tumor research at the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
